Redwoods Peace Colloquy 2025 – Housing Security & Economic Justice
December 5–7, 2025 | Portland, Oregon | Community of Christ
Housing insecurity and poverty are not just statistics—they are urgent moral issues. In the United States, poverty is the fourth leading cause of death, and according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, homelessness in 2024 reached its highest level ever recorded.
At Redwoods Peace Colloquy 2025, we believe that loving our neighbors means taking action for affordable housing and economic justice. This three-day event brings together people of faith, community advocates, and thought leaders to learn, connect, and gain tangible tools to make a difference.
Event Highlights:
Friday: Welcome dinner, opening session, and documentary screening
Saturday: Keynote sessions, breakout workshops, organization fair, and Advent acts of service in the community
Sunday: Closing worship and lunch
Opportunities to network with organizations, share ideas, and explore real-world solutions
Whether you’re just beginning to explore social justice work or you’ve been advocating for years, this is your chance to join a movement of hope and change.
